This painting is an 8x10 pastel on mitients paper; Paintings created "en plein air" (outdoors in front of the subject), have brighter colors and often more contrast between light and dark. I like the pastel look of this one.

This is an 18x24 pastel on Canson Mi tients paper. It has been selected for a show at the Forsyth Museum in Austin, Texas which will take place in June. It is entitled, "A path in the Woods."
